RECIPE: Peach Cobbler

Doesn't that look simply scrumptious? Just so you know ... it tastes even better than it looks!

I was given a box full of peaches (thanks again, John & Mary!) and they are absolutely the juiciest and most delicious local peaches I have tasted in a long time. This is my mom's oh-so-good recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 6-8 lg. Peaches - peeled and sliced OR 1 29 oz can Sliced Peaches
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • Cinnamon - to taste
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. In large bowl combine flour and sugar.
  3. Using pastry cutter, cut in butter
  4. Place peaches in a 2 qt. dish
  5. Sprinkle with a generous amount of cinnamon
  6. Top with flour/sugar mixture
  7. Bake for 1 hour
  8. Serves 6

Yummy!!!
